Recipient Org: Description Community Capacity Builders CIC was established to meet the needs of the growing number of communities and organisations that lacked the skills, delivery, experience and expertise to develop and grow. Our main focus is to provide funded sessional work to deliver a range of health, well being, sport and education projects and services to those vulnerable children and adults that we work with throughout the Liverpool City Region. Our organisation slogans are 'No one gets left behind' and 'stronger together' both we feel help describe what we do in a succinct way. We have 40 years combined experience of working with charities/not for profit organisations ranging from children and young people, mental health and post cancer patient care. Our team and sessional workers work alongside a range of volunteers, partners and service users to help create, manage, deliver and develop projects and services to communities. This includes working with the local community and partner agencies; including local police, and PCSO's, local schools, youth services, NHS/Cheshire West Partnership, Wirral CCG, GP's and other relevant agencies to offer and deliver supported interventions designed to help combat the problems these projects deal with. Through our CIC, we are committed to improving the places and spaces that matter to communities by helping children and adults and organisations improve their health, well being and quality of life. We are currently in the process of converting from a CIC to Charitable Incorporated Organisation and hope to have achieved this within six months. At present we are currently assembling a board of trustees who are from varied backgrounds and will offer a wealth of experience and insight to what we are trying to achieve.
