Recipient Org: Description NFC Kesh was established in 1975 to provide sporting activities to the communities within the area, namely football and cricket, for all ages and backgrounds. Having entered its 45th year in existence, it has went from strength to strength, now fielding 3 football teams every Saturday alongside the provision of a youth section, and 1 cricket team each summer. The Club has a cross community ethos to encourage communities to work together and build community cohesion within the area. The focus goes beyond providing sporting activities to the local community, but to provide a range of various other activities such as Family Fun Weekends, Beetle Drives, Fundraising activities, kids activities, Treasure hunts, quizzes etc. NFC also work in partnership with other local organisation such as the Kesh Carnival, Kesh Development Association, North Fermanagh Fitness Club, Young Farmers, Ederney GAA to name a few. The Club is responsive to the needs of the community, having over 50+ volunteers with their ears to the ground in the North Fermanagh area, and it is so we are applying to this fund.
