A typical client has been left alone and pregnant in the UK with no home, money or legal status after suffering an abusive relationship, sometimes rape, domestic slavery or trafficking into prostitution. Alternatives also offers counselling and pregnancy choices advice and support, and has a small team delivering sex and relationships education in local schools.
