Our story - In our own words. (360G-PeoplesHealthTrust-2023_85)

This two-year project provides weekly writing and storytelling workshops for adults with lived experience of mental health issues in Gainsborough and surrounding villages in West Lindsey, Lincolnshire. The project aims to support wellbeing through creativity. Participants share and perform their stories for the group and will publish them in a booklet of writing made available to the wider community, including local mental health groups and other organisations such as the hospital, schools, care homes and the library. Seeing their work in print boosts participants' confidence while sharing their stories challenges stigma and fosters understanding.
