The Craft Cabin
This two-year project developed an existing idea, running creative arts and crafts groups for young people experiencing mental ill-health, including homeless young people, in Abergavenny – a market town in Monmouthshire - and surrounding villages. The activities provided respite and fun, supported recovery and resilience, and offered skills development within a safe and inclusive environment which also fostered stronger social links leading to new friendships.

The Crafty Women Club
An existing project which aims to run two weekly sessions over the course of two years. The project centres around a creative art and craft programme for 40 disadvantaged women in North Abergavenny to help them recover from trauma, regain confidence and re-engage with society. The project aims to address mental health, abuse and social or emotional isolation of a group of women who are all resident with the local housing association.

This new two-year project aims to deliver a programme of weekly activities for young people, aged 16 and under, on the local estate.
