Over 50s Club - planning for the future
The group offers various activities for older people living in the Whitehead area of Co Antrim. The project will develop the club in a number of ways, through participation in sports/arts/heritage activities and social trips, thereby help to reduce social isolation which is often felt by older people.

Seacourt Disco Project
The group promotes development amongst community groups within the Larne area of Co Antrim through a range of educational programmes and networking with other community groups and agencies. The project will give the atmosphere of a disco for young people from within the community and surrounding areas of Larne, allowing them to come together to dance and expend their energy in a fun way.

New Start
The New Start project will enable Ballymena Family and Addicts Support Group to develop structured, informal, services to assist current and former substance abusers and their families. The project will work with young people in youth and church-based settings and in seven post-primary schools in the Ballymena area to raise awareness of the dangers of substance misuse and encourage young people not to try illegal substances.
Refurbishment/physical development
The group provides learning through paly facilities in Carrrickferhus for children aged 3-4 years old. The project is to carryout monkeynastics sessions and purchase new play equipment.

The school provides education for children with moderate to specific learning difficulties. The project will deliver extra curricular learning after school hours, at lunchtimes and through an early morning breakfast club.

Active Ageing Initiative
The Active Ageing initiative will employ six part-time co-ordinators to develop physical activity opportunities for older people living within the Antrim, Ballymena, Ballymoney, Carrickfergus, Magherafelt and Newtownabbey council areas. These Co-ordinators will be responsible for developing new activity programmes for older people. They will work closely with health professionals to develop a physical activity recommendation scheme for older people. 1,194 beneficiaries will be targeted.

The group hold social and recreational events for senior citizens. The project will give members the opportunity to attend a trip to the North Antrim Coast and enjoy a meal at Christmas.
