South Ayrshire Befriending Project
This project aims to reduce the social isolation of up to 105 children and young people with learning disabilities or behavioural and emotional difficulties through the provision of a befriending project. An adult role model will enable vulnerable and excluded young people to develop the skills to tackle problems, develop friendships and improve relationships. The three year grant will part fund three existing posts, staff travel and training and an external evaluation.
