Grant to Monmouth Broderers
The project is to create an embroidered wall hanging of Henry V addressing his troops at Agincourt and a Tile Tapestry, the design of which is based on mediaeval tiles at Monmouth Parish Church and also the first known Welsh site of Malvernian kiln firing floor tiles, found at a local archaeological dig. The money is for making wooden frames and trestles, lacing the hanging, wool, cotton, braiding, metallic threads and administrative costs.
