This project will run a converted double-decker bus as a mobile drop-in facility for young people in five rural villages. There is a chat room with a games console in the lower deck of the bus as well as a small cooking and washing area. Tackling Loneliness - the Intergenerational Way
Our main expenditure will be in the core costs of staff time to support young people organise, plan and deliver on the activities. Other expenditure will include hire of venues, professional entertainment, food, art materials and care bags. Volunteers would prepare the food and give lifts to the elderly which will not incur any expenditure as all time is donated.
