Friendship Circles are for life
This two-year project aims to set up small peer support groups for people with learning disabilities and/or autism in Rotherham. Participants will help each other with everyday problems. 25 ‘Friendship Circles’ will be set up, each consisting of five to six people meeting weekly. In the final stages of the project a sharing exercise with 25 organisations will take place.

Ad Venture Print Project
This group will use an award to provide paid and voluntary work experience for adults with learning disabilities. The beneficiaries will gain experience in IT, design, photography, customer service, office skills, CV building and interview techniques. They will also achieve accredited qualifications in literacy and numeracy. A newsletter and DVD will be produced to promote their experiences to encourage employers to employ people with learning disabilities.
