This is a project by a charity in Westminster serving people across London. The group will run a pilot project focused on the rehabilitation of young people living with the effects of acquired brain injury. The project will provide volunteering, training and support with education and returning to work.
ABI Navigation
The project aims to support people with brain injuries and their families upon discharge from hospital. Home visits will be provided along with structured coaching, training and support sessions to help individuals understand the effects of their brain injury and the implication it might have on their life. There will also be regular drop in sessions with partners such as local hospitals or organisations who can provide information about their services which could be of benefit.

Volunteering Solutions for People with Acquired Brain Injury
This project will support people with an acquired brain injury (ABI) to re-build their confidence, self-esteem and motivation, as well as developing skills to increase their life chances. Clients will undertake a programme of tailored one-to-one support, activities and training. Clients can train as leaders of the social activity sessions and some will be recruited and trained as peer mentors to provide informal support to others.
