Exercise and Physical Activity
The project will assist people with learning disabilities in Islington to experience improved health through exercise and physical activity. Through supporting adults with learning disabilities to join mainstream leisure or sporting activities and the necessary training and support for staff, the project aims to reduce two main areas of disadvantage experienced by people with learning disabilities: health and social exclusion.
The Sport and Physical Activity Project
This project supports people with learning difficulties within the London Borough of Islington to become healthier and more physically active, as well as developing new social networks and gaining independence. It promotes social inclusion of a particularly isolated group and help to integrate it into the wider community. The project provides access to a range of sporting activities including football, tennis, badminton, dance, boccia and walking groups.
Jubilee Fund -Elfrida Learning Disability Exercise & Fitness

The Health Facilitation Project
This is the continuation and expansion of existing services provided by The Elfrida Society for people in Islington. The aim of the project is to address health inequalities faced by adults with learning difficulties. The Health Facilitation Project covers direct health advocacy and support, health promotion and training and support for local healthcare providers.
Supporting People with Learning Difficulties with Sex and Relationships
