Action Mental (& Physical) Health
The Action Mental (Physical) Health project will deliver 20 physical activity programmes for people with mental illness. Activities include walking, dancing, cycling, tennis, tai chi and football. The programmes range from 4-20 weeks and will be delivered in eight of Action Mental Health's New Horizons Units across Northern Ireland including Armagh. The project aims to attract 284 participants over one year.

Based in Derry/L'derry, the 'What's Your Story' project will create an art piece in the form of a two-seater sofa made out of 2013 literary and music books donated by 2013 individuals. The piece will reflect literary and musical cultures across generations. The finished art piece will be transportable and will tour throughout Northern Ireland in the UK City of Culture year.

The grant will be used to assist people with a clinical diagnosis of alcohol misuse & mental ill health enabling them to learn to self-manage their conditions, leading to reduced harm & to retain a better quality of life for themselves & their families. Substance & Alcohol Misuse Workshops & New Beginnings workshops (focusing on mental health issues) will be devised.
AMH Venues Energy Audit & AMH Downpatrick glazing work
The project will use the grant to carry out energy audits in five 'New Horizons' vocational training venues in Antrim, Downpatrick, Fermanagh, Foyle and Newtownards. The project will also replace windows and entrance door at their Downpatrick office.
