The Whitsome Ark
This project is to construct a new community centre in the village of Whitsome in the Scottish Borders. It aims to improve the quality of life, reduce the social isolation and increase access to services for 285 people by providing the facilities to preserve and increase the range of services and activities in the village. The new centre will replace the existing village hall, shop/post office and church facilities which are all in need of extensive renovation.
