Positive Steps: Helping people to reach their potential
This project aims to provide a holistic range of support to enable adults with a long-term illness, who have been affected by childhood sexual abuse, to cope better with their health condition and access opportunities within the community. It will deliver four strands of support; individual complementary therapies, a self-management programme, a peer support group, and a one to one support and advocacy service.
Pathways to Progress
This organisation support people who have experienced or been affected by Childhood Sexual Abuse. This grant will fund the client support team who will work with people when they first contact the service. Through a person centred approach this team will work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse to develop a personal plan to help them improve their resilience, confidence and self-esteem.
'Stay Safe' Drama Workshops
This group will develop a programme of drama workshops and productions promoting drama as a vehicle for child protection issues. This grant will fund sessional drama tutors, producer fees for two months, administration costs, travel costs, insurance, venue hire, marketing, an education resource pack, lights, set design, costume, a sound engineer and production costs.

A SAFER FUTURE - CSA Survivor Support and Awareness
Moira Anderson Foundation (MAF) provides a place of safety and specialist support for children and adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse in Scotland. Referrals have increased by 16% since 2012-13 and user satisfaction is evidenced as high.Following successful delivery of a previous grant, MAF will build on this work to provide counselling and support to survivors aged 11+ to help them recover from the trauma of sexual abuse.
