Living Well with Epilepsy
This project aims to reduce isolation and increase the confidence, self-esteem and quality of life for 144 people with epilepsy, their families and carers living in rural areas across Central Scotland. It will develop local self-help groups and deliver epilepsy awareness & self management training to people with epilepsy, their families & carers in 6 week blocks and set up support groups within isolated communities.

Educational and personal development programmes for adults with epilepsy
The project will enable 48 people isolated by epilepsy to develop personal skills and knowledge, and participate in educational and employment opportunities to increase their economic independence and inclusion in society. People with epilepsy will receive one-to-one support to help them set and achieve life goals, participate in broadly-based education, training & personal development programmes, and move on to further education, training or employment at the end of the project.
